Hello everybody! I'm a new here. My name is Alex, 52years old, playing guitar when I was 14 years old.
Playing pop, rock, blues and a little bit jazz.

I've got my Fender Standard Telecaster USA for sale. There's a guy who wants to trade for a Burny TLC-100. He told me that the Burny is made in the 90's in Japan.
My questions are:
-is this a 90's Burny TLC-100 made in Japan?
-is this a good trade?

Here some pics:

That looks like a late 1998/early 1999 Dyna made Burny.
Need pics of the comtrol cavity and pickups cabities to be sure.

You have to be very careful when buying a Burny, recent ones (2000s) are mostly from China or Korea with a few being MIJ.
1?
I had 3 LPC Burnys from 3 different eras akept Tnd whereas good guitars, I perefer Tokais over them. I also preferred a Grego EG800 over Burnys altough it was pancake made, really good pickupn on that 1978 made guitar.

There were no TLC models name but RLC (Revival).

Yes but this one appears to have fret edge binding which was not used on MIC Burny's models or Tokai Burny's. So that's why it's possible a late 90 Dyna MIJ Burny. Pics of the cavity will tell for sure though.
