Just to update everyone, after weighing all of the pros and cons between:
Gibson 50th Anniv. Townshend SG
Bacchus SG Special
Tokai SG Special
Tokai SG Junior
Gibson SG Junior 60's
I ordered a Cherry Gibson SG Junior 60's from Guitar Center (on sale for $599). I figured, at the very least, if I didn't like it I could just return it due to their liberal "30 Day Return Policy". I came very close to ordering the 50th Anniversary Townshend SG from Wildwood Guitars (on sale for $999) but just couldn't quite pull the trigger. I'll let you all know how things go with the Junior. If things go well it'll be shipped off for a refinish in a month or two as IT MUST BE MADE PELHAM BLUE.
