I bought a mic tokai les Paul last year and I love it but now I would like to purchase a les Paul of a lot higher quality to keep.this will be a once in a lifetime purchase so not overly worried about cost.i would rather have a higher end tokai than a lower end Gibson.do you think it would be better to buy an older guitar of higher spec or a newer guitar.any help and advice will be very well received and appreciated.[/b]

thanks for the reply.i thought it would make more sense to get a higher grade tokai and god forbid if the worst does happen and i do have to sell it at least it has still got some value.i must admit i really do like the look and quality of the older higher end tokais.

They are making more Gibsons every day.

There are only so many old LS-80, LS-100, and LS-120 guitars.
