Hi Folks,

i am new to Tokai and this Forum. Now i have a Question about a used Tokai Love Rock i bought a few weeks ago here in Germany

The previous owner told me that this guitar should be a LS-260
I changed the PUs of this Baby and look for a hint of the Modell number in the PU Base (don?t know exactly how is it called in english :))
i didn?t found any hint which modell it is. Could anyone tell me, if its really a LS-260 Modell ?

sorry for my bad english and greetings from Germany
Marcus

Holy crap! Spalted maple top!

That's got to be a pretty limited expensive model I would have thought. Sorry can't help you on the model number, but the fret board sure looks to have a nice grain pattern, like some high end fret boards...

Maybe send some pics to Tokai to see if they can help?

Both Gottfried (togps) and Hisashi had custom runs of these made back in 2007. I have one that I purchased from Gottfried; it was based on the then LS230 specs at the time of production, which were LS250 specs by the time I purchased it; and now, the LS260 specs.

Mine is quite lovely. All the tops in the run were slightly different; the back on mine was one of the lightest in color. If you search the archives, I believe there is a photo of five or six of the siblings in a group photo.

Regards.

Hi folks,

At last i recognized that the Les Paul is not not my kind of Style. I need a Double Cutaway :)
Actually i own a Tokai LPJ-1 and a Tokai SG Junior (both MiJ) and i am very happy with them

Now i am on my way to sell this beauty :-?
Can anybody give me a hint what will be a realistic price for this model ?

greetings from Germany
Marcus

1700?, because i changed the Pickups with a Pair of H?ussel Wild Honey Pickups with Aged Nickel Covers
http://www.acys-lounge.de/wild-honey.html
The Pair cost 324? but the original Pickups are included. Without the Wild Honeys the 1500 will be fine

greetings Marcus
