Next one in line is this 1978 Greco Firebird.

The maestro tremolo and pickups have been removed. The bridge has been changed. This makes it a nice little project for putting in some nice pickups.

No cracks or breaks.

It will be shipped in a case, which handle is missing, though.

Asked price is 550?, offers welcome.

Well, I don't doubt there are 980s with Indian RW.
It wasn't any attempt to deduct a valid truth.

I know you weren't... don't take my comment as an offense. It's just that every single 980 I've ever seen had rosewood boards.

That is interesting.
Obviously they came both ways.

Just like Greco EGF1200 with Indian RW, poly finish and EGF850's with Braz board.

No consistency what so ever :D

Has anyone ever confirmed an EGF-1200 with poly finish?
I know some had Indian RW in '81, but I have never heard of a poly EGF-1200.

Depends on whether they intend to sell it or not

I had one with poly and a very ugly flame top.

Very interesting...
Their consistency was not consistent...haha
They had some 850s with amazing flametops, and some 1200s with crappy tops...
I guess it all depended on what wood they had that day in the shop...
