And the point of this guitar is what exactly? I thought the reason for having a tele would be to not go all metal and pointy, unless any old fools out there remember Vadis from the 80's - I seem to remember the guitar player (Steve Zodiac?) had a tele hybrid thing.

I saw one of those in a an East Texas Pawn shop, but the Mosrite 12 string with the wang bar on it shook me up so bad I didn't give it a second thought! Dallas Guitar Show starts this weekend! I've been skimming money from the bank accounts for the last quarter to insure a good time! Will be looking for Tok's and Rick's! ...Found 2 Fernandes strats last week N.O.S. 3tone burst and a shoreline gold, still had plastic on the gaurds ...$699 each, guess thats why they still have 'em!
