Model number?

New Fender Vintage pickups so no help there

Looks like an alder bodied 84 Goldie st 50 GS (golden sunburst) and I just love that sunburst Gabe

Fender pickguard? See top screw placement between neck and middle pickups.

Correct!! Fender pickups and pguard.

ST50 Goldie - how do they compare to JV Squiers, later Vintage MIJ Fenders and US Fenders? No experience with Tokai Strats, only Gibson style

Goldstars are easily as good as JV SQ`s or Fender Japan and are better than most U.S Fenders.Gabe.
