I thought we been talking about an LS140 - written in the first post - , but it?s been the LS95 wen been talking about. (so I was the confused one, sorry) LS95 models have standard bridges with hard zinc saddles, and that?s what felixcatus found on his guitar.

Hope everything?s now right again!

cheers, ACY!

Ok, hard zinc saddles I can agree with that.
That leaves me with one more question. What material are the standard LS and Faber bridge(frame)made of?
Please don?t make me cut it in half. :D

The frames are hard zinc on most or all bridges I know. In july I?m geting new bridges from ABM Mueller Germany where frame is made from massive bell brass, see here:

Talked to the guys and seems to be very interesting what they told me. Will also check out bell brass STPs from that company.

Cheers, ACY!

Thank You for sharing your knowledge.

By the way: Acy is also selling the excellent Allparts Bridge with brass saddles :D
He put it on my Tokai Anniversary a few months ago and it seems to be slightly better (more defined tone) than the (old) Faber bridge (also with brass saddles and made in Japan).

That ABM-Mueller solid brass bridge caught my attention.

My LS80 still has the original hard zinc bridge.

Hmm yes I find that one interesting too. Will it fit a Tokai right away you think?

Yes, that will fit. Also there?s different versions of that bridge, ABR style, and Nashville style. If you want to get more infos about that just wait another two weeks or so, then I?ll get my shipment and will check out these bridges on Tokais. Then I can say more about the results of these bridges compared to stock bridges, and brass saddle bridges.

Cheers mates, ACY!
