For sale is a beautiful 1981 Greco Super Real EGF-850.
Still has the "EGF 850 GRECO GUITAR" sticker on the back of the headstock.
"1 1364" ink stamp serial number.
It has been upgraded with Greco/Maxon Dry-Z pickups with zebra bobbins, "Z" stamped, with serial number "201112" (November 12th 1980).
NOTE: I do not have the original PU-2 pickups, which these EGF 850s come with stock.
Dark consistent rich colored fretboard, either Brazilian or Indian rosewood (some claim early EGF-850s had Brazilian rosewood, but I cannot confirm this)
Nitro laquer finish, two piece veneer maple flametop, 2 piece middle seam mahogany back, fret edge binding, dark cherry red back and neck.
Minor dings around the body, no veneer or binding issues.
All soldering is original, pickups professionally replaced keeping clean orginal factory soldering.
Weight is 9.5 lbs
Ships with leather gig bag and packed with extreme care.
*** Will ship with an original Tokai '80s black hardshell case with green lining for additional $150. ***
$1950 US via PayPal gift.
Shipping: $65 to US, $75 to Canada, $125 to Europe/Asia.
