like villager says, EGF-850s don't usually have one piece mahogany, rather two or three... super reals are great guitars, I have an 850 myself but everytime I look at villager's page I get the shakes.
villager said:remember one layer mahogony back does NOT mean one piece mahogony back, all 850's and 1000's and 1200's have 2 or sometimes with 850's 3 piece backs, and 1800's have 1 or 2 piece centre seamed backs...
Peterkl said:Hi,
my Ibanez GB-10 from 1978 has 2 floating super 70 pickups.(#280724)
One needs a rewound, does anyone knows a good rewounder?
I read somewhere that somebody makes Ibanez super 70 clones: who does this work?
Does anyone know if the magnet an coils from a :standard Ibanez" super 70 humbucker fit into the housing of an Ibanez "floating"version?
Do these pickups sometime have other brands/names?
On wich guitars one can find such pickups?
Thank a lott,
Peter
