This is supposed to be a part of the 1984 catalog. A LS180, is this right?

It's a part of this ebay auction:

Very interesting - never seen that page from the 1984 catalog before.

Here's a shameless pic of my '84 LS150 (I guess it's a 150, no markings).

Yeah, according to that part of the catalog that could also be a 200.. It says Limited Edition btw in this catalog.
Mark has his 1984 quilt top designated as a 150 but it has the same factory installed Grovers as the one in the Ebay auction and also no sticker. Maybe he knows..

Thanks for the compliments fellas! Mine has Grovers too (pat. pend.), but it had Klusons originally. I'm biased, but I like my top better than Gottfried's LS200...

I've never come accross an 84 LS180. There was a newer special order LS180 which Mick "leadguitar_323" has shown before on the forum. Howver, I'm sure Gottfried knows his stuff.

The blister top reminds me of this LS200 from 81 which should also have the cashew finish.

Which period for that LS180 are you talking about?

Around 2003 Jacco, inlays are similar to the ones shown.
I got a LS-180 Special Order from 2007,very nice guitar.

Update: I checked catalogs on Vintaxe & Tokairegistry and both the 1994 & 1995 catalog feature the exact page, models & pictures. So the catalog the ad refers to is mid 90s not mid 80s as suggested.

Yes, it looks that way but the guitar is 84 and as we have seen there were blister top LS200s around in 81. The date refers to the guitar for sale.

Of course you're right but the reason to post a 10 year younger catalog page as an empowerment for the sale eludes me.
