Bacchus CLASSIC series?

Back to the Classic Series Bacchus guitars..... I saw a few of the strats on one of the links in this thread and they look really nice.

But it's the Les Pauls that have caught my attention. Does anyone know of any of the usual suspects carrying them yet - Ishibashi, Gakkido, Kurosawa?
 
Another good thing about Devisor is that they actually list the wood types the guitar is made from like Honduras or African Mahogany etc

Some of these smaller guitar makers have folded over the years in Japan but Devisor made it through.

EMS still isn't posting my guitar. Pissing me off. It's 7 A.M. in japan and it went out yesterday. I know it's not a live Road or a duke but I have been waiting for this guitar for years. They told me the classics are the most like the old Live roads. Why they renamed their new Universe series Live road I'll never know. Confusing. I need to share that with them.

Hisashi can be contacted at www.nagoyaguitar.com but i dont think he,s got any, i,ve just bought my secound Duke from hisashi an unusual flame duke master this time will post some pics in the next few days.

I`ve sent several guitars from Japan to Montreal and it takes a week door to door by insured postal service.

Some parts of Japan have moved recently maybe as much as 13 feet.

yeah I would have bet money somebody was going to say something about that when I typed what I did...because I`d seen it already. Did you think Japanese scientists had missed that?
 
I didn't even think of the earthquake :oops: I just meant in general that the plates everywhere are moving all the time :)

Yeah, I'm kinda getting to having enough guitars now that it's getting a bit daft. I won't need any more once I get about another 5 or 6 (!). Of course once I get them I'll probably decide I need more :lol:
 
LOL Yeah too many guitars. Hum,,, can't relate. ;>) I'm starting to think EMS is just kidding. Still no tracking info on my guitar.

They are usually AMAZINGLY fast. It's the best postal service I've ever used. All the guitars I've bought from Japan have arrived in under 4 days...(that's to Taiwan). It's crazy how efficient EMS is. I wouldn't stress about it too much.

I've always had really good delivery times from Japan to central Iowa - dead in the upper-middle of the US - with EMS. Normally three days, a couple times two-and-a-half days. Of course, when it's the 20th in Japan, it's still only the 19th here, but even given the 15 or 16 hour difference, just excellent delivery.

I have my dog sit by the window and watch for me! Makes us both happy..
 
I'm not stressing really I'm just wondering why they have tracking when it doesn't work. I know it gets here when it gets here I'm cool. :>)
 
I'm an idiot I didn't realize there were different tracking web sites for different countries I guess I was using the Chinese site. So I found it and it just landed at JFK. Sweet. I wonder how long that takes. Pretty cool though it's in the states in 2 days. It's possible even that it gets here by Friday. That would be cool cause I'm writing with Phil Collen from def Leopard friday and I can show it off to him.

yeah i think ishibashi used ems for my edwards. The guitar got from japan to england faster than it got from england to northern ireland. :lol:
 
Tracking says it's in Nashville and on it's way to me. LOL Awesome. That's 3 days. It should be here early afternoon I guess. USPS is slow in Nashville. Everything is slow in Nashville. And I mean everything. LOL EXCEPT the musicians ability to learn and play a song perfectly the first time. That is NOT slow that is amazing.
