EMG's are passive, so their fairly old.

The pups and trem are after market I think.

i think that was fairly obvious those where aftermarket :p
and they are not passive they are active

im more wondering what model it is specifically
and opinions on the model

The guitar itself looks to be an 84 Goldstar... might need to look at the catalog to check the available colors to identify whether it's an TST40, 50, etc.

It's a shame that it's been so wanked over with those mods. If you like them, cool.... not my cup o tea though.

and the pickups are getting replaced but they also happen to be worth about ?100 at least

No brass pickguard plate ,and six digit serial number,it`s a post 84 st 50 or 55.GabeP.S .where`s the battery?

but the colour body code is OGM instead of FO and it looks too red for FO. Never seen that colour code before, not to say it is not genuine but may be a respray?

Hi Iain,

Maybe but he states it looks more orange than red unlike the pic's....but I've never herd of OGM either. The GM looks to be crossed out?

Dave

Sorry, I 'red' it the wrong way! It will be FO. Maybe they were going to do it Old Gold Metallic and changed their mind.

Hey the colour is very orange in real life but the colour has faded
when i took the trem of there was a much more reddy orange underneath

iv returned it to vintage specs now il put some pictures up tomorrow
