I saw a old japanese guitar buyable.It?s :
Fender Japan 1985-87 Vintage Style Fat Strat

What?s the real value of this guitar ? I though that pre-1982 japanese guitars are the most desirables.Express your opinion , please ,that could help me
 
A bigger pic and your location might help :wink:

In the UK a '85 'fat strat' would go for about 300-350 pounds
 
That pic is much better, when you said 'fat' I assumes a humbucker at the bridge. It looks nice but it's not a vintage correct model, and although they are good guitars they are not as popular.

I would say shop price should be around 400 pounds, ebay 300-350
 
Looks exactly like my E series strat.... same tuners, same everything. Great guitars and Fujigen made

What's the serial number on it?
 
It just looks like a Japanese Standard Strat to me, nothing special. I can just make out on the hang-tag that it is one of the USA export models, so probably has a basswood body and ceramic pickups. Definitely not worth anywhere near the money that is being asked. The only thing vaguely special about it is the hard-tail.
