I have been looking to acquire a Tokai for some time and I found this on another forum and made a trade. It's a 97' LS-85F. She's in great shape for a 13 year old guitar and has zero fret wear. So far so good. I'm not sure about the pups in her. The previous owner said he was told they are MIJ PAF's... not sure what that means, but they do sound good. All in all, I'm pleased. Here are some pics I snapped with my iPhone right after unpacking her.

How does it sound in comparison with the Gibo LP and the Ibanez Artist?

Thanks. Literally it is the middle ground between the two. The Ibby is brighter and the Gibby is warmer. It's a keeper. I like the neck profile, somewhere in between a 50's and 60's profile. Again, the middle ground.
