Just bought a Burny Rock N Roll TV yellow LP Junior off one of the guys on here but does anyone know how to find out what year it is? There is no serial number on it but from what I have read this is common with Burny guitars. Can anyone give me any pointers?

If it's original the truss rod cover can help date it, the early '80's ones have a bell shaped TRC, the later ones have a TRC with 'wings' Burny's are notoriously difficult to date exactly.

hi
it looks like i may have had a humbucker installed at some time ?
and i need a picture of the dots on the neck at the 12 fret ... and a picture of the pots and caps .... but if the truss rod cover is original it is from before 1987 ( or maybe a littel later) :D :D :D
all the best

yes it has has a humbucker fitted in the past. the guy i bought it off said it had one when he imported it from japan so he changed it back to a p90. i'll try and get some pics of the parts you mentioned in a couple of days cos just dropped it off with my luthier to set it up how i like my guitars
