I also picked up a superb Burny Les Paul Custom for a friend of a friend who's now let me down so If it's OK with you guys I'm going to post it in the classifieds.

I'm in the UK BTW.

Hi Xlr8, welcome to the Forum . Shame that guy didn?t want the Burny (his loss), but that Reborn should be cherished for ever, beautiful guitar ? tell me, did you find many Reborns on sale in Tokyo? How were prices, generally?

Ian.

Hi Ian,

This was the first reborn I've found and I'm there every couple of months. I'm normally hunting around for '70s Yamaha SG2000s (another classic) but a friend asked me to look out for a Tokai/Burny. Well I couldn't believe my eyes when I found this one, at a reasonable price too. In fact I found this site whilst doing a search trying to date it , 8001948

Prices there are lower than the Japanese specialists on eBay and the Web, but I guess that is to be expected. Anyway I'm back over again next month and I shall certainly be keeping my eyes peeled for more Tokais.

Neil
