Just wondering what some of the specs are on these? maybe 1985-86.
There would be no serial # except on the bridge plate "A-######", right?
pickguard is 3 ply white not mint green like the newer ones
3 piece basswood body?
thin poly finish?
vintage tuners, vintage style pickups, tinted neck, double binding.
I know i recall seeing this MIJ 62 tele custom reissues in the stores in the early to mid nineties. seems like those guitars are pretty sought after now. i didn't know if they made them in the 80's and if so if there were any differences?
