Hi - Bought this in 1993 from a "desperate" man and although I have sold every Fender Jazz and Precision I owned over the years, I have kept this. After as much research as I could do, I believe it to be a 1989 Tokai Works Bass Revolution Part of the SuperSeries range model number TW551 although there is no indication of this on the bass, only the name. It has L. White pickups and active circuitry. It sounds UNBELIEVABLE, I have never played anything that comes close. It has a pearlescent 3 way "flip" paint finish - from one angle it has a pink tint, straight on pure white, and from the other side a green tint. The action is almost six string easy, and those pickups are clean and crisp at whatever end of its vast tonal range you wish to frolic. Anyone else know of or have one of these? If you see one in a second hand shop or on EBAY, BUY IT.

Hiya Montyyoga

It seems I also have one of these basses lying around here, although a much cheaper version (TW-44)with a bolt on neck.
I have tried several times to identify or gain information on this bass with next to no luck apart from seeing one in an old (92 i think) catalouge on this site other than that zilch !!!
I bought mine for ?30 off flea-bay as a project. It had been completely stripped off all finish and hardware. It had been well used during its lifetime as shown by the amount of fret wear, but there was enough left to allow a re crown to be done.
At this point this and buying a cracking Redwood veneere for the body is all I have done to it so I suppose I should get cracking and return it to something more usable
