A lot of people buy Givesons or Gibtones when visiting India. An archtop acoustic for not much more than the price of a sandwich in the States? Fair enough. Then for the rest of your trip you have a guitar to play which you can donate to a needy kid at the end of it.
My girlfriend's dad got her a Gibtone which is currently borderline unplayable. The action is terrible, and the tuners are beyond cheap.
But you can bet I intend to get it up and running. The sound from that thing is seriously unbelievable for such an insanely cheap guitar. It'll make the most amazing slide and blues guitar.
