just like my first electric guitar. What a total POS! Steamed plywood top, single coil pickups in a humbucker casing..........need I go on? Getting my new Goldstar in 1983 and being able to get rid of the Avon was such a happy day for me. :D

Even if you love Japanese guitars, don't buy this. There's a reason why "Japanese" once meant "cheap & nasty" - Avon is a classic example. :evil: Thankfully Tokai later proved that Japanese gear can be MUCH better than this.
