Got a stoopid question...
How does a stereo cabinet work...I have a stereo Quad box and I'm about to add a second amp to my rig.
Is it possible to run both amps into the one cab....or do I need to A/B and only run one at a time? |

Yes you can run both amps in to one cab, if they are valve amps DON't try to use an AB box after the amps to run them seperately, a valve amp must be connected to a speaker if it's switched on otherwise you will damage the output tranformer.
There should be 2 inputs on the cab, probably 8 ohms each, but check, use the 8 ohm connection on your amp and connect one amp to each input. You can use an AB box in front of the amps to run one at a time, or an ABY box to run them seperately or both together. |
