The Custom Shops are the 2003 version of the 2001 Limited Edition and well documented in the Tokai Information section under Model specific.

I'm even less familiar with newer Tokais than I am with older Tokais, but I saw all the bright white plastic on this guitar and I instantly thought of the snowy mountain caps of Korea.
Seems a bit steep for an MIK instrument, no?

Interesting tidbit. All Tokai Custom Shop Love Rocks are MIK and they do have serial numbers.

His doesn't, which he specifically points out. Looks like a bog standard ALS48, but I could be wrong.
