Photo of the neck heel is best clearly showing the thickness of the rosewood on top of the maple neck. _________________ Totally biased towards Japanese made guitars. |

Mick & JVSearch were spot on, it's a slab board, that makes it a BST-62V |

........or does it? Recent news just in via an exclusive e.mail received by a friend of one of my friend's friends, suggests that all Bacchus guitars are actually manufactured in the industrial sector of Antarctica, & merely shipped in via Japan to confuse & baffle people.
The guitar pictured was actually manufactured in 1936, & looks likely to be one of the prototypes.

Perhaps it would be better if some of you would like you to read again, what i said at the begining before posting my replies from Deviser that were translated.
I said
Quote "even with their help in translating they still can not guarantee it as exact, but still, it is the best information I have ever seen. " Unquote.
So, as what I thought was a nice gesture by me, and by my private buyer and Tokai Joe, to contribute further to Tokai Forum.
I did receive a few thank you's, and thank you kindly to those who did say so

That's a nice Bacchus. 2000? I wonder if the serial number starts with 00?
I don't need to check mine, I already know it's a BST-64V as it has a cap board. I wasn't at all confused about what I owned before this pointless thread was started.
I'm actually far more interested in what colour it is. It's not quite Lake Placid Blue, so Ocean Turquoise perhaps?

Reliable information needs to be confirmed by more than one source, especially when this information seeks to turn on it's head what was previously accepted to be the facts. A theory is merely a theory until it can be confirmed or denied. |

lol...a pointless thread to you stratman323, however, more informative to others, especially as this is a discussion about about bacchus stratocaster.
So, we have a BST-62 with 'begining' in the logo, that is hardly a point for you to jump up and down stratman323, and rubbish my contribution here.
It is important that correct information is presented, and if there is an inconsistency, or error, it gets sorted out.
I will make contact with Deviser again, and ask specifically about the 'begining' and 'beginning' as what extra information they can provide. Clearly they still used these with the later vintage models 2000-2004
I will post the reply from Deviser as soon as it is received.
Thank you!

Well stratman323 there's a coincidence, first I buy an amp similar to yours and then it turns out I have a Bacchus almost identical to one you have! I am led to believe it is Ocean Turquoise. It also seems a bit odd that the logo has begining and the neck plate has beginning.

actually I'm very glad this topic started, I received couple of information, got confirmed my guitar is bst62. tnx greco_burst, hope you'll receive more information about that extra "n" letter which confuses us all. Has any forum member such strat with "beginning" in headstock? I checked some pictures but didn't find any. |

How has this thread told you anything about your guitar that hasn't already been discussed on this forum? |
