I've bought a few Tokai guitars over the years ...and love them

and was thinking of getting a bass for a bit of home recording

Richtone have got a thunderbird for 279 GBP.....

are they any good ???

Hi,
Ya its really good. It is really enriched with great features, I have ever seen. But I would always request each and every person to try it themselves before buying, as different person have different taste of music.

My younger brother has owned pretty much every expensive bass known to man in his time, and all he has now are Tokais. he loves them.

I don't think you'll go too far wrong for that price. Assuming that's the type of bass you want? There's a reason whay almost every hit record was done on either a Precision or a Jazz.

Plenty of EB-0's and EB-3's were used, also. Check with Clapton's bass player -- that Bruce guy..

But, definitely - there were, and still are, a lot of bass players using Fender Precision or Jazz Bass.

Well....Clapton's bass player for a brief period 40 or so years ago!
