Just saw this, nice:

http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/ubox.cgi?T=syosai&sline=3516&print=1&keys2=ochanomizu%40ishibashi%2Eco%2Ejp&tid=list3

Looks like that LS-120 needs some fretwork at least, and I think for that kind of money to spent, Japanguitars have several to choose from.

A bit off topic about the color. I know by experience that pictures taken at that Ishibashi branch look much more red than they guitars actually are - if they haven't changed settings or the camera :)

Compare: http://www.ishibashi.co.jp/u_box/image/3169849041.jpg and
http://www.siilit.net/temp/guitars/Yamaha%20SR-700/slides/CRW_6959.html

Same guitar, and I took the picture in quite good lighting and it represents the true color quite well.

Ubox links get broken every time they update the lists. But in this case, the LS-120 has been bought/reserved, since the search doesn't find it.

I've got the hold on it but I'm not sure if I'm going to take it. It sounds like there has been quite a bit of work done to the frets so I'm a little suspect. He says the second fret is "worn off a bit". Here's the description of it they gave me;

used Tokai LS-120/316967404
---------------------------
- Although this is an aged guitar cosmetic condition is not that bad. Some visible scratches and small dents are seen on body.A shallow but visible cosmetic chip is seen at the back of the body.A few more of these chips are seen at the bottom of the body.
The metallic parts appear quite dull especially on the bridge and tail piece.
- There ahs been refretting but the frets were not replaced (same original frets). There was not any trimming done either. A good amount of frets still remains even though the 2nd frets appears worn off a bit.
- The neck is good and functions well.
- The pegs may have been replaced .This cannot be verified but it is obviously seen that the currently installed pegs appear newer than all other metallic hardware parts.
- A hard case accomapanies it.
- Playability is very good.
- Guitar lone weighs 4.11kg.
- Serial number is 90060111.

oh well ,if you pass on it pegcityrocker,i might have a little look at it?Anymore info on it yet?

For those who didn't get to see before it was hidden (if Pegcityrocker doesn't buy it)

KIITOS PALJON ATHA,
I like, what was the selling price,Do you know atha?
PEGCITYROCKER ,yeh a few frets look a bit worn, should not be a problem ,If i was you i would not hesitate depending on the price that is?
If frets are worn that means somebody played the hell out of it :D

I just let them know that I am passing on it. If it were more of a tea-burst color I would've over-looked its minor issues. Have at 'er!

YEP.... Clown Red... reminds me of the LP's from the 70's

No surprise there, that's when they started copying them!

Extreme clown burst guitars will have their day again (maybe)...
