There's a guy on Ebay who sells repro plates...they're very close to the originals. His are $15...originals go for $150 - $300...finding the repro clinched the deal as far as putting the Bigsby on my Tokai...I really wanted a plate like that to cover the stud holes and I wouldn't have done it without it. Here's his auction...the plates look much better in person, the lettering is more delicate like the originals...

And Toubitz...I really didn't notice any difference in sustain or tone...I'll post some full shots later.
