Hello,

I'm back in the market for a goldtop axe with p-90's.

Question, how do the p-90's in the bacchus duke master compare in tone to a LS-160 or gibson R6?

as well, are the bacchus Duke's on par in terms of quality to the tokai LS-160's?

Also, what about the edwards goltops, are any of their goldtops MIJ, or are they all made/assembled in China?

thanks for your help!!!

Bacchus quality is exceptional on the Handmade series (Duke etc).
The Duke Master seems to have a decent sized neck (good handful) but the nut width is 42mm so the neck is quite a bit smaller than an R6, and it also has smaller frets.

The pickups sound great to me but I haven't heard the R6 or LS-160.

You know Hisashi has a Duke Master Goldtop on the Bay right now that is a pretty good deal, and it's a decent weight as well (4.2kg).

Also, what about the edwards goltops, are any of their goldtops MIJ, or are they all made/assembled in China?
Now ask us an easy question..!!!!

It is easy Oze, they are built and painted in China and assembled {hardware} in Japan. In saying that, they are made in the ESP factory in China and not subbed out to other manufacturers.
