Problem with Pickup

hi all, need some opinion.

ive got a strat and apparantly i have just changed the pickups to texas special. it worked fine for about 2 weeks, then output for the middle PU dropped... couple days later before i brought it to a tech, it came back up again... another week later it dropped...

went to the shop to get it re-soldered, work fine for a few days and then output dropped again...

what are the possible problems here?

What did the tech say - he's the prof who can tell what the reason was ... 8)

BTW - I had some difficulties on the volume pot of my LP ... I nearly taxed my brain - no cold soldering, no wrong soldering. I was just going to change all the pots ...
But it was simple. Caused by the braided shield wires ... they touched some pot when the guitar was moved in a certain angle.
So I insulated the wires and the problem was solved.

Perhaps there is also a very little cause with a big effect on your guitar ?? :roll:
