Tokai Custom Edition Ebay 230697586478 ser no 220XXX 82 ?
Is the dating correct?
I think it is 86.....?
The 87-88 catalogues show a similar guitar without pointy HS ...SJ603
It has - Pointy headstock; SSH; 1Vol; 1Tone; AR LokTrem.
What is it worth?
Any idea if MiJ or MiK and woods used/

There's not a lot of knowledge on these super strat types and the ebay pictures don't show the full guitar......

Is it one of these from the 87/88 catalogue (pic's here equally bad)?

Did you win it? If you did it's probably a very good guitar for that sort of money (?146).

Yep, I won it.
It's normal to see them fetch this sort of bid, but with strat head stocks.
Pointy heads are shunned by many and I wondered if this makes it less desirable, hence worth even less?
You say 'probably'....is that a guess or empirically derived?
I derived my contradictory age appraisal from that same catalogue page.
It's the same as the bottom left but with pointed HS.
I can't decipher how to work out the age from the serial number search.

Hi Zaddy, probably is just a guess I'm afraid.

In this case (as with many others) the Tokai serial numbers makes little sense I suspect.
