Is this a rare one? The one?s I have seen with P90?s are mostly gold tops not violin finish, except for the German market. It almost makes me wish I hadn?t bought the ULS80 last month , for the same (start bid) price(due to the extra?s). I?m fairly new to Tokai, I was prepared for the sound and quality. That they create an addiction so fast, caught me by surprise.

Yup.... those were a special run of guitars ordered by the German Tokai distributor. I don't believe those have been added to Tokai's regular lineup.

Gibson has just come out with a similar guitar..... here's a link to a thread about them:

Do what I do .If your wife tells you that you have enough guitars buy an amp or some pedals instead :wink:
 
I thought I?ve solved the problem, by learning her to play(acoustic guitar). Now she?s got it too! She wants a bass and an amp to go with it. Battle of the axes! It?s almost her birthday, I was thinking of buying her a nice violin finish LS with P90?s. :wink: Question is ,have I got the balls? :roll:
 
I had the same idea...told my wife I will buy her a nice guitar for birthday.
Her answer : I don't play guitar
My answer : I can play it for you :lol:
 
Two piece center seam to the back? The new Gibson's '50s Studio Tribute have a bunch of different backs. Some have a center seam, some off seam, some three piece. I like the look of the Tokai much better with the body and neck binding.
 
We've just moved house and bought a new TV, we didn't have a stand for it so the missus 'borrowed' one of my guitar cabs, a very smart Framus 1x12. She now thinks it's so cool she's looking for another cab to replace it, I've said she can have that one and but me a Mesa 2x12 instead :wink:

She's also looking for a purple Les Paul to hang on the wall!! If a LP Special Gem in Purple comes up it won't be spending much time on the wall 8)
