I'm actually a bit concerned that those are copies of Fakais!
Especially the first one - how do you get all that inlay work on a guitar that is priced pretty much the same as any Fakai?
Totally biased towards Japanese made guitars.

Maybe they should change the name of their shop to Guitar Shackai. Gabe.

They USED to be called JSD Guitar shack and they USED to be advertisers on this site.
In fact...the owner used to be a forum member here but if he EVER shows his face around these parts I have the tar boiling and the feathers awaiting.

I just sent him an abusive message via ebay...so I'll probably be reported
And I reported the auctions.

I did a report for ebay as well because i have been in contact with this guy since i started researching these guitars a couple of years ago. He now knows damn well that these are fakes and i even supplied him with Tokai's email addy, the one i use to verify these guitars so he could find out from the "horses mouth", he has obviously chosen not to listen. In the beginning he really did think they were Canadian market guitars, and he bought them as such but he knows better now and still chooses to sell them as original Tokai's........

Hi There,

I don't belive they're the same 'Guitar Shack'. The one is the ebay listing is located in Toronto while JSD's is in Thunderbay. Here is the link to JSD's:
http://www.jsdguitarshack.com/

Kevin

Disclaimer: Although I do own a Fakai, purchased from JSD (as an aside I have since acquired 2 Orville by Gibson LP's as well) and I live in Canada and my name is also Kevin, please note that I'm NOT affiliated with either seller. :D
