Greco eg59-70 or 80?

Post by PetJyr » Thu Nov 20, 2008 5:50 am

HI guys

Im looking at a Greco mint with double trick pickups, the seller thinks its a eg-70. Did they have double tricks? Or was it the eg-80s? It also have some strange stuff in the neckjoint up to the right, not sure if its repaired or what it its. Here?s a pic of the cavity.

EG59-70's had Double Trick's, as far as I'm aware there isn't an EG59-80

I'm not sure, but in the Mint Collection era the Double Tricks were the next pickup down in the range from the Dry-1982's so I would imagibe an EG85 might have Double trick as well.

The neck joint looks fine

The Mint Collection guitars are generally excellent If it's a decent price and a good looker snap it up!
