Mayfair,
It?s a great thing hearing about publishing a Tokai book. I would buy it!
Regarding cooperating in the book I would ask more information who are you and how the project is.Because some things happened to me I?m very reservated now, sorry,I don?t feel glad someone earn money at my cost(not you of course). Sometimes I feel there are some "chupones"(an spanish expresion for nasty people) who just aren?t "clear character" people......
I feel very glad cooperating Tokai Co. Ltd. and Mr. Adachi no doubt, anyway anywhere however.....

Perhaps better and easier to publish the information as an electronic book, like a website. Easy to update, minimal cost.

historyoftokai.com
tokaihistory.com

etc

my command of Japanese is nowhere near what it would have to be to take on a project like that. Anyways, I`d wager somebody here has aready done that so maybe a translation of an exisiting book could be done.

I live in Hong Kong. I studied Printing in Vocational Institute in Hong Kong, and worked in Printing Company before. I have some experience to publish a Book.

1 Design (Book Layout)
2 Printing
3 Binding (Hard cover Edition)

Although, I haven't working in Printing Company, my friends will give me idea to completed the Project.

I would not earn the money in this project, I give the idea to yours only.
I am interested in this Tokai, but Around the Book Store, I could not found the book about this Brands.
I decided to post the ideas here, may be someone to complete the job. :)

I think you publish electronic book very simple, and easier, I am afraid the web site will be disappeared in one day.like FLYINGVINTAGE.COM

I have another idea , I will try to print the Logo or some photo on my T shirt by using SCREENING , If I have finished my T shirt, I post the pics here,

I second that idea.
I was a printer by trade and know just how much cash it costs to make a coffee table book(yes...that's what a book that comprises mostly photos is called in the publishing industry).
It's far less money to establish and upkeep a website and people are more likely to browse at their leasure.

Hola guys,

i have been trying to finish such a task and will put the question to all . . .
who wants to help finish it??
Luis, Villager and some others have.pdf copies of some finished pages, i have brilliant photos supplied from many of the members (gottfried, ochay, AndrewM to name a few) Luis and Andrew have also provided written material and information,
all i really need is a way to collate and condense it and follow upon a few anomolies. . . and the time to complete it. I amsure that with other members help, it can happen

The SilverStar chapter is complete, Strat, LS and TE are 90%, FV, EX, ES, SG and the Pedals have been started but still require some work and clear pics.

Also a Japanese translater would be most helpful.

Can anyone tell me how to attach .pdf files to this thread?

I also work with Photoshop CS2 should anyone need to submit information

regards
Peter Mac
