Well, I am no expert on Tokai's, but it looks very similar to the one I just bought off eBay. Mine is serial number 1013296. The only difference is that my pickups are white and black bobbins, which is what I thought they came with back then. The volume / tone knobs don't look original either. Also, the pickguard and switch plate do not look original (too white) I paid $1295 US for mine, which seemed to be a good deal when compared to all the other similar MIJ Tokais I could find of that era. How much is it? Here's a couple of photos of mine

Looks legit to me...Both look like mine, which was recently identified as a TLS-60CS.

I spent 400 uk pounds on my 1984 model. I Thought that was a good deal when I bought it and have yet to be prooved wrong. I would say that anything cheaper than 400 is a real bargain not to be missed.

Looks fine mate, very nice colour. Most all the Korean fakes were made from 2001 through to 2005. There are now some coming out of China but i have never seen an early model being faked..
