Was Tokai guitars called Crown in the seventies?

One guy here in Finland claims to have a Crown Les Paul model guitar from the seventies. He says it?s called Crown and later Crown guitars were called Tokai. Has anyone heard anything like this? I think it?s just a marketing gimmick. Maple body, rosewood neck and pearl inlays.

Just to clear this up: the guy selling this guitar is making up lies to try and sell his crap, old, cheap, second-rate les paul copy.

That's the reason your search got nothing.
