NGD Tokai LS160

I DIG this guitar! My other (and first) Tokai is a HLS240 with a flamed top, so having a modern era plain top non-Hibiki Shop model seemed the way to go.

Yes... it is the way to go.

This thing is gorgeous, sounds tremendous and at .040 12th fret high E there is absolutely no buzz whatsoever or fret-out. The neck is ramrod straight (I love saying RAMROD) and I lowered it even further w/o a problem. The frets seem practically brand new. The MOP inlays are awesome, and the plain top with the burst is understated elegance.

I'm still in the market for the right 80's Tokai. I've got 80's and 70's Burnys, Grecos, Arias, but no Tokai ... yet
