Hi.

My Tokai LS-Custom came with brass busings and brass M8 studs for the lightweight stopbar.
And the bridge posts are steel M4 screws.

I seems that original LP'59 had steel bushings and studs for the lightweight stopbar and brass posts at the bridge. Just the opposite.

I would like to replace bridge posts and tailpiece bushings with the correct material. Do you know any source for these parts:

- M4 brass screws, nickel plated for the bridge
- Steel bushings for the tailpiece, which fits the diameter of Tokai holes.

Do you know any source for them?

Regards

Stug, just try http://www.montreuxguitars.com/products/import/pu_parts_us.html
Give me a call and let?s see how can make it.

Philadelphia Supply had them in stock too, I have a pair left if you need them fast Emiel.

It's worth bearing in mind that those old brass bridge posts are much softer than steel and over time had a tendency to bend under string tension.

IMO for technical and practical reasons stainless steel is a much better choice.
