If you look at where the height adjustment screw goes into the backplate, you can see a smaller screw right next to it.
The cover obviously has a flange that spreads out over that part of the baseplate.

On a seperate note, the Bell TRC on mine is the same as some other members guitars from 1985 that came into the UK as non export, so is genuine to the guitar.
It is step laminated - not chamfered like the Gibson ones.

Is there any chance these links could be updated or reposted or can somebody tell me where to find them, please?
