For sale this great Tokai ES100 from the first year of production of this model - 1980.
Quite thick, narrow neck, fret edge binding. High frets, even, low action.
Very dark and smooth fingerboard, possibly from Central America.
Beautiful bird's eye hard maple top and back.
Weight about 3.7 kg.
Great sustain, articulation.
Nitro finish.
Not sure if it's J or R model, PUs read circa 8k.
The guitar is after headstock repair, very nicely made, with additional reinforcement.
I don't know if the bridge and tailpiece are original. The keys have been replaced as the knobs too.
Hardcase included.
