I’ll never outlive the impact the album Wired had on me. It’s part of my subconscious I’m sure.

And of course the bootleg I had on vinyl featuring Beck, Page & Clapton.

Or seeing him open for SRV. Playing “I’m Going Down” together.

This news hits hard. It took me a long time to really appreciate Beck's skill.

What he could do with his deftness of touch, and coaxing so many tones with just his phrasing and dynamics. Amazing, and so magical that I never tried to learn his tracks.
