SEEMS TO BE QUITE A MYSTERY HERE.... Maybe someone else will know

tokai - 6 digit serial - 051186 ???

Double ring tuners - 81??? or replicas of a vintage tuner?

No markings of japan or korea??? ANYWHERE!!!!

Appears to be Maple top, 500K pots, gold hardware (incl. b-2 bridge)

LC - 60??? is my guess and what year is beyond me... Here are some pics - I hope this will provide the clues needed...

Does not seem to be a legitimate vintage Tokai.

No, it isn't... no chance of that guitar being made in Japan.
My guess - newish and Chinese (maybe Korean).

The ABR type bridge with a Nashville type mounting system does not bode well, it's something I have seen on other guitars that were not legit.
Sorry if this is bad news, and I don't know for sure.

Definately not a real Tokai I'm afraid.

The LC series doesn't come in a sunburst finish, and that guitar doesn't have the right headstock inlay or truss rod cover. Serial number looks dodgy too.

It will have been made in Korea or China. Sorry for the bad news. :(
