hello,

I need a P-90 equipped guitar.

Some Questions on a couple of models:

1. Tokai LS175-SYW(Les paul Special copy):

Is this guitar made in Japan? How would these p-90 PUP's compare to Gibson's?

2. Duke Master:

How does this axe compare in terms of quality to that of a gibson? ARe the p-90's on this axe comparble to that of a Gibson? This is considerably less then the Tokai, why is this?

I'm getting my info. from musicland.co.jp. Does this company ship to Canada?

Regards,

prsman

Hi PRS man, yes the ls 175 is japanese, none of the high end guitars tokai make are made anywhere else. Not to sure about the p 90's. The bacchus guitars are as well built as the gibson historics, some would say better, bacchus build excellent quality guitars. I'd say the reason they are cheaper is because they are a lesser known manufacturer, i own a bacchus lemon drop standard from 1995 one of the first ones i was led to believe and its a better built and finished guitar than a same model gibson standard.i, {better neck joint and overall finish}

Cheers Mick
