That's a newer Chinese build. 2019 ?

Makes it confusing that these newer Sigmas are using the old 1970s logos.

I'm not sure what is up with these?

They are putting torches on everything, even a D18 copy.

I have to wonder if these are made in China under license from Martin??

Every longer guitar friend will be familiar with the Sigma brand (since 1970). It is all the more gratifying that - after a long break in production - this brand is being built again.

I can only tell you - from my vantage point - that I very rarely held such a well and precisely processed guitar in my hands. On top of that they sound amazing and the best part is of course the price!! Value for money really 1 A!
