Up for sale is a beautiful 1982 Fender JV ST62-65 3TS !!!

$1500 FREE shipping to USA (Shipping - $25 to Canada, $100 to Europe/Asia, $175 to Australia) via PayPal Gift.

This is a very early JV, having a neck date of 5-27'82 (27th of May 1982), second month of JV production.

Red "C" stamped neck pocket.

These early Fender JVs used the vintage correct brown outer ring color (not black) in the 3 Tone Sunburst!

Custom brass named neck plate, which was one of the options instead of a "JV" serial neck plate, which would be in the "JV02XXX" range.

Three original factory installed '82 Fullerton Grey Bobbin pickups with "171782" and "191782" stamps.

Original factory soldering, including 3-way DM-30 switch, cap and pots.

Original black "65" sticker on the back of the neck and "PICK UP MADE IN USA" sticker on pick guard, very rare and hard to find on a 30 year old guitar.

Original trem arm included.

Full C-shaped neck.

More detailed pictures available.

Weighs in at a nice weight of 7.9lbs, which makes this JV strat sound full and resonant.

Guitar will be shipped "neck-off" for safer shipping.

I want the pups.
But can't find any reason for having the rest of the guitar.
Hmmm.....
Anyone in Europe who wants a JV without pups?

They might be worth $1575 to you? :)

Classic and nice looking Strat.

Way too much with shipping and import tax.
Unfortunately, or I would be seriously interested.

Definitely beg to differ.
Those fullerton pups alone blow a Springy or Goldstar out of the water :p

Almost as good as a Springy or Goldstar. Gabe

Ive played several Fenders both USA and Japan with the Fullerton pups(red, black and grey bottomed) and in my opinion they are decent pickups but greatly overated and overhyped. As for woodwork e.t.c..Tokais are just as good as DynaGakki or Fuji Gen JVs and more consistent than USA Fullertons RIs. Gabe
