Super detachable neck system
Tokai's world-class detachable neck revolution. Unlike the conventional plate system, 10% deep brass nuts are passed through and 4 screws are made independent for a perfect joint, which boasts outstanding strength and long sustain.
In addition, we have changed the shape of the body and the heel part of the neck, which was impossible with the conventional plate method, and succeeded in heelless cutaway even though it is a detachable neck system.
The bold cut of the heel part and the shape of the neck joint that allows it to flow have achieved outstanding playability in high positions.
22 frets (guitar)
24 frets that expand the range of sound (bass) neck.
6 series of SX, VX, TZFSD, FVD, EXD adopt 648% long scale and 22 frets.
By adding 1 fret to the 1 fret that was the mainstream of conventional detachable necks, the range of sound has been expanded.
There are also two types of scales for bass guitar. The MBX series uses 820% medium scale 24 frets, and the LBX series uses 863% long scale 24 frets necks.
The 2-octave scale produces a versatile bass sound for any music genre.
Original pickups
All original series adopt newly developed pickups to produce sound performance that matches the individuality of each model.
1) New Single Coil P.U. P2-66 (BW) SX Series
Uses a powerful alnico magnet with a ball piece Nyu 6. The unique number of coil turns produces a sharp and straight sound. From high to low frequencies, the tight and crisp balance is unique to Tokai single-coil pickups. Please reduce various sound colors with the original control system with Plus One sound.
2) New humbucking P.U. P1-11 BZ
Thorough research on old guitar pickups has created a humbucking pickup full of originality.
Mounted on all 5 series models of VX, TZ FSD, FVD, and EXD, and mounted on the black cover of the exquisite Flying Dragon, please experience the splendid and exciting original sound.
(P1-14BZ with 4 core shield is used for models with dual sound system and coil tap system)
3) New Pace P.U. P6-11B (MBX & LBX)
Newly developed split type pickup P6-11B.
6 powerful alnico magnet ball pieces and an original number of turns of the unit produce a dynamic bass sound.
4) New Pace P7-14B (MBX & LBX)
Original double-coil type bass pickup that shuts out noise.
The humbucking P.U.'s distinctive straight punchy deep bass and versatile sound are unique to the original. This is Tokai's ambitious work that challenges the limit of bass pickup.
In addition, because of its 4-core configuration, it is a versatile pickup that can create a more attack and bright sound character if used in a dual sound system, coil tap system, etc.
5) Original tremolo system & bridge
Guitar:
All models use a tremolo unit system, and a super vibrato unit E.T. is standard equipment from middle-class models. Emotional and thrilling sound. Along with creating the sound, it will meet the needs of insatiable guitar players.

Bass:
Newly developed heavy duty bridge and tailpiece for all MBX LBX series models.
Perfectly shuts out bridge top (saddle) pres due to vibrato and bending.
Another feature is that the screws that hold the bridge are not visible from the surface, and the body is sandwiched with strong bolts from the back of the body, and the double structure with the sustain block produces amazing long sustain.
6) Original control system The control system is also full of originality.

In addition to the five tones that can be created with the P.U.
(2) Dual sound system
The dual sound system produces two different sounds with just one pickup. One is a normal humbucking sound with coils connected in series. The other is Coil Parallel (a sharp and clear single-coil sound that can be obtained by connecting in parallel.
This is different from the single-coil sound that can be obtained with a coil tap system, because it keeps the humbucking effect intact, so there is no noise. The advantage is that you can get a clear sound
(3) Coil tap switch
A switch to switch from a normal humbucking sound to a single coil sound.
This switch works for both front P.U. and rear P.U.
(4) Booster switch
A booster circuit is built into the guitar body, and an overdrive sound (distortion sound) can be obtained with the guitar, which is very useful in live performances. Adjust the overdrive sound with the booster volume.
The battery (006 P-9Vx1) is installed on the back of the guitar and can be easily replaced.
(5) P.U. Balancer (Bass)
This P.U. balancer control creates a mix sound of front P.U. and rear P.U.
This volume stops at the center (center click method). Turning it to the right emphasizes the front P.U. Turning it to the left emphasizes the rear P.U. When fully turned, the output of one P.U. becomes 0.
This P.U. Balancer not only demonstrates its power when combining P.U.s with different outputs, but also expands the sound variation.
