Did anyone here successfully buy this guitar? I had bought and paid for it yesterday using a proxy service and the listing ended as expected. Now they've come back and informed me that it couldn't be purchased without an explanation. I'm assuming the seller backed out for some reason. First time I've had a BIN listing fall through.

It looks like it was an auction. So most likely you were outbid. Sounds like you thought you were buying it for the price listed which was just the price of the last bidder. And since you entered an amount that was already entered, it went to the first person that entered that amount. Or someone could have bid more just as time was running out. But since you haven't mentioned it Id assume it sold for the price you bid.

It was a Buy It Now (BIN) listing that I had won and that's the reason there was only 1 bid. The seller is a store that lists all musical instruments with a BIN or Buyout Price.
