    lefty love rocks

Where in the world are you? If you're in the UK, i'd try Holiday Music - they have a department called "Leftys", and claim to have the biggest stock of left handers in Europe... very good people, very nice to deal with (bought my Epi LP there), and ther stuff is good and reasonably priced. And...

    lefty love rocks

I've been hunting around for information recently on this front (see my thread on Lefty Tokai SGs) - it does seem that the only two models available - at least here in the UK - are very much the budget models compared to the right hander... the attraction of Tokai is that I know they build an SG...

    Left Handed Tokai SG

....so most likely then the lefty is a cheaper version - that would explain the difference, if it's Korean and the right hander is Japanese.... Is it just me, or do lefties seem to get screwed over on availability on everything? ;o)

    Left Handed Tokai SG

Yeah, that's confused me ... but the UK site very definately says that the lefty model they offer is nato body and neck, tho otherwise it looks identical (except the other way atround, obviously). I'll probably ask instore - i emailed tokai a few days ago, but haven't heard from them. Oh well...

    Left Handed Tokai SG

Thanks for your reply. When you say they changed the headstock, is this in the Americas only due to the lawsuit? I ask cause the one i've seen as a lefty model (that plus one Love Rock constitute the entire range in the UK available left handed at the minute...) on the UK website is totally...

    the logos

Interesting that Tokai did "silver series" - I remember in the early 90s when i was buying my first Electric guitar (and when i first started to look at Strats), Fender were pushing a range of Squiers branded the "Silver Series", which as i recall were made in Japan (the last Squiers made out...

    Fender MIJ Strat

In my experience, the received wisdom is that MIJ Fenders were as near as dammit to the USA models, and much cheaper. They're still mde in Japan, of course, but seem (at least here in the UK) much harder to lay hands on than MIM stuff. I'm not sure that they're necessarily better in theory than...

Things not to do to your 59 Les Paul: #1

Yeah, this cropped up on the Harmony board a while back - a lot of howls of protest, tho interestingly the majority view (which i share) was that if it means that this became a uable guitar fro some guy, that's much better than it hanging on a wall unused somewhere, being treated as a museum...

    Left Handed Tokai SG

My first post on this forum - hopefully you guys will be able to help me more than harmony central! So, I'm considering buying another guitar (aren't we all!). Already have a Fender Strat and an Epiphone LP Std, as electrics go. The Epi is actually a pretty good guitar - I guess a mix of...
