How do 70s Ibanez gibson copies compare to Jap Tokai?

The ibanez quality depends largely on the year and model though, right? I've heard that 1973-1975 (just before lawsuit) saw some really good Ibanez copies. It was apparently Ibanez's goal to be the best copy brand of them all until the lawsuit. i'm personally only interested in semi-acoustics...

How do 70s Ibanez gibson copies compare to Jap Tokai?

Were they made by the same people? Which one is worth more in today's market, a japanese Tokai 335 copy or an Ibanez one? Les Paul? I'm particularly interested in the 335 copies myself. Anyone tried both 70s Ibanez 335 copies and Tokai Japanese copies? thanks!

Wanted: Tokai 335/rickenbacker, or swap for Tokai 80s Tele

I am in London, UK. Need Tokai 335 or Rickenbacker. Would consider doing a swap with my translucent blonde Tokai 80s Breezysound (normal tele head so it's early 80s) with rosewood neck. email: [email protected]

    Dating Tokai Breezysound

I have a transparent blonde Tokai Breezysound with a Fender-like headstock and a post 83/84 logo (not spaghetti or capitals). The serial number on the neck plate is 221571. Fairly flat Rosewood fretboard, slim neck, white pickguard, says "tokai" on the bridgeplate. Anyone know when this is...
