    Diamond - I agree, the quality of the guitar is outstanding for the price. I love the MK2 pickups. The only problem I've had so far is with the nut. The g string seems to be catching on the nut and goes out of tune after bending it. A friend recommended I change the nut for a Graph Tech nut.

    Thanks for the info, my guitar seems to be a 2 piece back which makes it an LS 85F. It was sold to me as such but I wanted to be certain. As for the LS 135, id say a "mahogany back" could mean either 1 piece or 2 piece.

    Hi, I purchased my first Tokai about 6 months ago and have finally got around to posting some pictures. If anyone could give me some more info on the guitar that would be great. It has a 7 digit serial number starting "08" which from what I've read means it was made in 2008.
